It started with a problem no one wanted to own
Vaughn Davis started in hospitality as a bellman. Over the following years, he rose through every level of hotel operations, eventually becoming Managing Director of Dream Hollywood. He understood the industry from every angle - what a great guest experience looks like from the outside and how much invisible operational work goes into creating it. When COVID shut down hospitality entirely, he co-wrote the reopening standard operating procedures for hotels and restaurants across Los Angeles, guiding the industry back to operating safely and with public trust.
What he saw during that process stayed with him. Branded hotel groups and management companies were running complex, multi-property operations on disconnected systems and fragmented data. Technology that was supposed to create leverage was creating risk instead. The people accountable for performance across dozens or hundreds of properties were making critical decisions without a unified view of their business, and without any way to defend those decisions to a board or a regulator.
Hyper Nimbus was built to solve that problem by someone who understood it from the inside. The platform gives enterprise hospitality operators one connected intelligence layer across revenue, operations, and guest service, with accountability built into the architecture rather than promised in policy. AI that holds up when it meets the real world of multi-property management, compliance requirements, and institutional scrutiny. The tradeoff between capability and control is not inevitable.
